One of the biggest Lubavitch yeshivos in E”Y had a 2,000,000 (yes, 2 million) shekel surplus in 2023, due to government funding (and them implementing the limudei chol). This is verifiable by looking up the disclosures for amutot (nonprofits/charities).

These administrators need to ask themselves whether they would feel comfortable telling the Rebbe that this is what they are doing.

The Rebbe was against limudei chol even kids, which is more accepted in frum circles. The Torah states that shochad blinds.
