It was something that you did soon after I met you 39 years ago that showed me your “Ahavas Yisrael” was genuine. I had come to you on behalf of an acquaintance whose husband had left her destitute. When I had approached the Rabbi of the shul where she and I were members, and told him of her need he said that he would pray for her. When I told you of her need you immediately filled two bags with groceries and told me to give them to her along with some cash. The example that you and Chaya have set has inspired me to strive to be a better me.

But when I told you, you immediately put together two bags of groceries and handed me some money to give her.
