TIFERES BACHURIM

The founding history and naming of the “MOSED TIFERES BACHURIM” is well known and is, or will be recorded, B”EZH.

As you know, the name Tiferes Bachurim was given by the Rebbe during my “yechidus.”

In order to have a complete history, it should be mentioned that some years afterwards a sheliach in Florida wrote to the Rebbe that he intends to start an identical institution as ours and name it Tiferes Bachurim.

The Rebbe responded that the name TIFERES BACHURIM belongs to MORRISTOWN; the sheliach should contact Morristown in order to get permission to use the name.

I found out about the above details when the sheliach called to get permission.

Permission was granted. For whatever reason, that mosod existed only about 2 years. May the Rebbe’s ZECHUS continue to bless us in all aspects.
