BDE. I have such fond childhood memories of R' Sholom Ber Levine. He was our Shabbos Bochur but became part of our family. So warm, so mentchlich, a real gentleman. Although over 60 years passed, I remember that feeling of excitement every time he came. He even drove all the way to our bungalow in the summer surprising us and bringing a huge bag of gifts for everyone. Many years later when we reconnected, the closeness was still strong; he was so interested in hearing about everyone. He was a real good, emesdik person.
