I am certain the Rebbe would not allow a Chossid, especially with kids to own a unfiltered device, I think thats the opinion of almost all chasidishe and litvishe Rabbanim (if not more strict), how can we afford to be different?

Sometimes the answer is nothing. If someone complains that “Shabbos is too strict”, then we obviously don’t wanna start thinking about how Shabbos can be more lenient, but perhaps we do want to think about the way we’re teaching what Shabbos is and means, and how we react to our children who aren’t interested in it. If someone writes an article against our schools and says that as an alumni, he never felt cared for we want to ask ourselves what can be changed so the students feel more cared for. To simply say that, “we are following the Torah so we can do no wrong” maybe 100% correct but it also might be 100% unstrategic if our goal is to produce people who actually want to do what we teach them, not just comply with what we teach them.

If someone speaks against Torah, we are obligated to call them out. If a person is speaking out against the Torah, we are obligated to object, and if a therapy modality is against Torah, we are obligated to speak up.
It’s as simple as that.

We can’t condone public takedowns (certain therapies, modalities, even people) in certain areas but complain about them in others.

Young people in particular see the hypocrisy.
