I am involved in chinuch and I will say that real chinuch is heart to heart and not by programs. Curricula and programs look nice, but they don’t do anything like a caring teacher.

If we took the money and gave it to our mechanchim, it could do much more to help those children. But there would be nothing to show and publicize.

The Rebbe prioritized genuine impact over nice programs. The Rebbe advised supporting bochurim in someone’s memory instead of writing a sefer Torah and sponsoring shemura matza instead of a big building. But that doesn’t get headlines…

So here is my pitch . And the proof is in the pudding meaning it works.
I have a weekly zoom class for the last 4.5 years.
We share through journeys and stories to bring out mitzvos and Torah concepts.
We either start with a rebbe video or end with one. And our speakers share a personal rebbe story. From this I got so many ppl committing to learning. Connecting. Going to ohel for first times. Going to mikvah for first time with full families. Keeping kosher. Lighting Shabbos candles. Making changes. I am lucky I got to hear so much feedback.
We have every kind of Jew who tunes in. I have a YouTube channel and podcast. I would love the schools to implement a subject. Start with a video or end with a video and have volunteers and paid ppl to come in and share their life stories and journeys. The children will get inspired and connect. Please consider this idea even if I don’t win.
