Rabbi Yaakov Shmuel and Messody Golomb together with their children Mendel, Eliyahu and Ahron are moving to open a new Chabad center, serving the Jewish community of Fredericksburg and Mary Washington University, a Liberal Arts College.

Nestled just off of the busy i95 with a short distance to Washington DC, Fredericksburg is fast becoming a hub of young families and professionals looking for an affordable option to the rising home prices in the Capitol.

Rich with history and gleaming with architecture, Fredericksburg is also slated to become home to the biggest VA Hospital in the United States opening in 2024.

Rabbi Golomb, an expert Mohel, who has been serving communities all over the country will bring his expertise to his community and beyond. In their words “We looked for a while for our Shlichus and we are incredibly thankful to Reb Yossel Kranz, head shliach to Virginia, for all his guidance in making this happen. With everything going on in Israel, it is more crucial than ever that Chabad take a role in the city and on Campus.

Please partner with them as they lay the foundations for a new community and kick off this new city of Yiddishkeit as it grows into something spectacular. Please help with any donation to reach the goal of $75,000 to Kick-off this move.
