I believe that Rabbi Zajac has a unique clarity, and goes farther than just how the AR is different than the magen avraham, especially regarding these topics which many of these inyonim ne'emonus, chazokois etc. are learned in yeshiva, and the AR is not even mentioned.

Mazal Tov to my dear role model on the new sefer.

People ought to know that one can do this on any part of the Alter Rebbe's Shulchan Aruch. There are numerous chiddushim in each seif. When learned with the mekoros one realizes the hagdoros and that the novel approach to the sugia answers many questions of achronim. One doesn't need advanced skills to do this. Just learn the sugia from Gemora with Rosh and Ran and then Tur Beis Yosef and Shulchan Aruch with Nosie Keilim and then The AR SA, you will immediately see new depth in the words of the AR.

For example he often learns different peshat in the Magen Avraham then the Machtzis Hashekel or the Livushei Srad or argues with the Pri Megadim. At first you will have questions why the AR adds or doesn't explain it simply, but then you will see that he has a unique shita which resolves many other issues. Taamu Ureu Ki Tov. One just needs time and yishuv hadaas to sit for a couple of hours and then one gets a taste of Gan Eden in this world.
