Final preparations are being made in the Marina Roscha shul and community center in Moscow and in Chabad Houses across the city to welcome thousands of Yidden who will be coming to celebrate Rosh Hashana.

At Marina Roscha, several halls are being set up for minyanim, with the main minyan being presided over by Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar. Thousands are expected to attend over the two days of Yom Tov, to daven, hear shofar and partake in Yom Tom seudos.

In addition, a mass ‘kimcha d’tishrei‘ charity project took place in Moscow’s Shaarei Tzedek Jewish Charity Center, during which thousands of holiday kits were distributed to thousands of Jewish families and food baskets to large families, the needy and the disabled.
