There's no need to involve Shadchonim in this. It isn't their job.
If someone has two jobs- be it Shadchan and dating coach, or electrician and dating coach- everything stated about dating coaches would apply.

In reply to <a href="https://anash.org/its-time-to-broaden-the-kashrus-discussion/#comment-36027">It's an issue</a>.

What the commentator above is referring to is a phenomenon that the shadchan is not only a facilitator, rather he/she acts as a dating coach throughout the process. While this maybe be helpful in certain cases with certain limitations, this is not the way forward. There is a letter of the Rebbe where it is written that the job of a shadchan is to put people together. If shadchonim would just put people together, then there wouldn’t be a question. However, if shadchonim act like dating coaches, then they belong in that same category of those that “need a hechsher”

I would add Shadchanim to the list. There's a growing phenomenon in our community of dating like the modern orthodox. Not going to be specific but in general the idea that the dating is to develop a relationship..., as apposed to it being to see whether you are happy to buid a home together with this person. I realized recently that there are some Shadchonim that push this way of dating and encourage it. I learnt it is important to make sure a Shadchan has a similar view to you as what dating is about.
