Personally, despite the obvious virtues of WhatsApp - namely all the Torah groups, school connections, free worldwide family and friends calling etc..
I have sacrificed it all for the past 20 years ago in order not to expose my children to the disgusting, immodest and goyishe GIF clips that come along with it, in addition to all the non Tznius profile pictures posted by many of my contacts, and also tremendous consumption of time and life on stupidity!
Telegram and Signal are no better concerning these issues! Now is the time for all of you WhatsApp uses to make a true chesbon hanefesh to perhaps finally do away with this WhatsApp monstrous addiction of never ending waste of time on nonsense, hak a chaynik conversations with hundreds of people, impurifying our eyes and minds with the tumah that accompanies it! Let’s not make any idols out of some convenience that Am Yisroel has always sacrificed for shmiras shabbos, kashrus, yiddishkite and chassidishkite to maintain kedusha and ultimate perseverance of our essence!

Email, text and Duo calling do the job just fine with even better video quality to keep in touch with family and friends for free. Hatzlocho Rabba to everyone in fulfilling the mitzvah now of סור מרע ועשה טוב
