In the Rebbe’s words: (Free Translation)
“In order for chinuch to be effective, we rely on each other; for not everyone is capable of teaching and educating their own children. So in addition to the chinuch that parents impress on their children, a teacher is needed to perfect their education…
“…And this is in addition to the main point; successful chinuch happens when a child is educated together with other children his age, not when he is educated alone…Torah must be learned specifically ‘bichaburah’ – in a group.”

In reply to Hi. The author brought up a few issues that arise when homeschooling your children, such as lack of quality curriculum and professional assessment of the child’s growth in their studies. I believe the point of the comment was that there’s a wonderful program to address those critical issues that arise when homeschooling which is the premise of this article.

In reply to Yosef G.. While there may be inconveniences and even difficulties in providing a traditional chinuch, in chabad we have a legacy of being moser nefesh (literally) for this cause. I don't see why anyone should compromise their children's growth and spiritual health for these two reasons mentioned.

Obviously in class school has .any great benefits,
Bit it cam be understood in many cases why parent are choosing to home school. That is:
[1. Expensive demanding tuition ]
2. Silly unreasonable covid regulations. And especially when we get into a vaccine “era” where depending on where you live, parents are wary of what the school will allow themselves to do …. I don’t need to mention specific cases. But most people understand the situation.

– Twice a year individual assessment
– Constant guidance and direction to the parents from the teachers on our team.

Timely article. I guess this article applies to parents who fear Covid or live at a distance from a school or Cheder. Home schooling is obviously not a derech.
