In reply to <a href="https://anash.org/hundreds-wrap-tefillin-at-massive-parade-in-manhattan/#comment-69201">once upon a time...</a>.

R' Dovid Raskin A"H - the director of Tzach at the time - asked the Rebbe if Tzach should engage in activities by the Israel Day Parade.

The instruction Rabbi Hodakov transmitted was "זיין דארטן, אבער נישט זיין דארטן".

As per this הוראה, to this day, the bochurim that go do mivtzoim at the parade under the auspices of Tzach are careful to keep the proper distance, such as setting up shop at least a block away from the parade route, along with other precautions.

(The fact that there are individuals who may on their own accord go further, doing mivtzoim within the parade itself, is not something condoned by the Rebbe or by those organizing the mivtzoim in an official capacity.)

there was a great person who thought he was smarter then hashem - hashem said 'wipe out amalek and all their sheep and cattle', and he said: i can use the cattle to brin a korban...

hashem therefore took away the kingship from him.

why do i say this?

we are soldiers, and if the rebbe said not to do mivtzoim inside the israel day parade - then who does anypne think they are to go against that?

the rebbe wants chabad to completely dissasociate with anythinh that has to do with zionism
