While in Eretz Yisroel then, the Fridiker Rebbe visited Reb MN three times.
On Motsoei Shabbos Reb MN would relate stories. Reb Moshe Ashkanazie (the father of the Rov of Kfar Chabad) who came to Eretz Yisroel in תרצד, relates that he had heard that the Fridiker Rebbe said at some point while in Eretz Yisroel, that it be worthwhile to go hear Reb MN’s stories. Reb Moshe Ashkanazie would actually do so from time to time.

Reb M.N Twersky lived in Nikoliav from תרעט till תרפו.
Reb Itche Der Masmid would visit him, but it was his grandson Reb Yochanon (Reb NY Twersky’s from CH grandfather) who was there together with his grandfather, and not his granfather (Reb MN), who was involved with Chasidei Lubavitch in conjunction with the Cheder in Nikoliav

So Reb Nochumtchke was a son of the first Reb Yochonan of Rachmastrivka (son of Reb Mottele chernobler)? If so that would make him first cousin with the FR’s grandmother, RYY of avrutch’s Rebetzen.

What is his relation to well known Rachmastrivke Rebbe Reb Yochanan (grandfather of Rabbi Twerski of Crown heights)? Was R’ Yochanan his son? grandson?
