I think it was 30 years ago. Right after Gimmel Tammuz.
Nshei Chabad responded by putting huge signs with quotes from the Rebbe about it on doors of local businesses. They thought it was a matter of lack of knowledge, instead of addressing it one on one, one woman at a time, as it should have been done.
I think part of the issue was teaching that we keep tznius because the Rebbe wants it. This was a mistake. We do it because its part of our Mesorah, and THAT is why the Rebbe wants it.

This article reminded me how grateful I am.
My Judaism and Hiskashrus is at its peak. like it will be when moshiach comes.

I used to be a good tznius girl but I was dead with my emotions and my thinking -my psychological side.
Hashem was very happy with me
And I wasn’t happy with my connection to him.
Aseres Hadibros was his party not mine.
He enjoyed the ice cream and there was none for me. I wasn’t upset I knew it was good and Holy but inside I didn’t connect to it fully. Of course I wasn’t foolish I kept everything 100% that wasnt an issue at all.

But Now
When I learn Halacha I hear my sweet and Holy kings words and I have full obedience to them.

I also connect to each halacha with my thinking. My mind feels how right and understanding the King is .
My Tznius is not just a decree but I connect to the King with every part of my being ,my psychological (thinking ) mind sees the value of tznius too.

My emotions are full of happiness and joy and of course with awe and respect.

Chassidus taught me that moshiach is about to come and to get ready I can bring Hashem into my thinking and my heart.
I have very chassidshe and tznius friends that haven’t found this gift .
They are even afraid to think because they think Hashem cant be found on the psychological level so it’s easier for them not to go there.
Their body bH gets tznius but their mind and heart aren’t tznius. They haven’t let the King in yet into that part of themselves.
This is one of the reasons Im excited that moshiach is coming .

It will be a huge Aseres hadibros ice cream party.
Hashem in every corner and the most fun ever.
The Rebbe is so close to Hashem he knows exactly the balance and the needs of the Jew in front of him.
Sometimes the Rebbe explains yidishkeit and talks about listening to the King with kabolas ol.
And Sometimes he speaks psychologically because that’s what the person needs to feel comfortable to accept the Kings words and also so that the words enter the heart .
I saw a letter in the Rebbes handwriting about tznius that lack of tznius is because of lack of self esteem.

Thank you Hashem for a Rebbe that celebrates yidishkeit and celebrates us and knows what we each need and takes my inner world as precious to Hashem too!

When I was younger I had a very Holy mashpia but I didn’t really feel they cared about me and they couldn’t find Hashem. In my mind and my heart just in my behavior.
It was a good beginning but now it’s so much sweeter.
I don’t know what would or could have happened if I didn’t come to this level and find this mashpia.
Maybe chas vesholom I could have had a yerida.
(For sure it would be because I was searching for more but who need to go through that )

I’m starting to have the fun now. 😉
Who wants to come to the party?

Not everything that we don't like is an attack. It's ridiculous and futile to respond to anything that you don't like as it being "hurtful" or "offensive." That's the woke approach, but it doesn't hold.

There are real standards of right and wrong in halacha (as in life in general) - even if it's uncomfortable for us. Of course, we need to influence with love and sensitivity. But ultimately there are in life some uncomfortable truths that we will need to face, and institutions (schools, shuls, and communities) are obligated to uphold them.

Just look at the end result. Most often, those who reframe tzniyus as "My personal business," and "Don't judge me," are also lacking in yiras shomayim demonstrated in their lack of care in other areas of shmiras hamitzvos. They are the first to sieze any kulah they can be it in kashrus, shmiras Shabbos or kedushas habayis. I know this sounds horribly judgemental; but now that the Pandoras box has been opened with public articles, we just need to look at the "lifestyles" of the authors to know where their well-written opinions will lead.
