Camp Machane Moshiach in Crown Heights, a project of Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch, has concluded three weeks of adventure and learning, with a focus on living with Moshiach and Geulah every day.
Camp “Machane Moshiach” in Crown Heights, a project of Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch, has concluded its session. For 3 fun weeks, Camp Machane Moshiach opened its doors to a one-of-a-kind experience: an immersive program into the deep meaning of Geula and Moshiach which lead campers through a beautiful and moving experience exploring and learning how to live with Moshiach everyday.
Over the weeks, campers put together a 3D model replica of the Beis Hamikdosh based on a drawing of a detailed map indicating the main gates and the chotzer. The campers had a chance to see the Beis Hamikdosh replica come to life before their eyes and to gain an appreciation for the upcoming Geula.
“With Hashem’s help, the 3 weeks were very fun,” said Michoel Gringrass, head counselor. “It has been full of excitement running this amazing group of campers together with Chosid Otchman and Menachem Mendel Kaprov. Learning about the Beis Hamikdosh and exploring fun daily trips and activities with our campers greatly enhanced their camp experience.”
We visited Kosher Farms, Torah Museum, fruit picking, Little island, Pier 6, and more. Every day we were on another adventure. It was great to see all the boys having so much fun and at the same time learning and practicing Chasidishkeit. I was very impressed by the enthusiasm and energy of the campers.”
“It was my first time being in a camp with kids and what surprised me from the beginning about them was the good energy and the happiness that they had to do everything. I personally appreciated this the most because I think that is a very important quality to progress in life,” says Chosid Otchman.
“We are very happy my kids came to this camp for a few years. The atmosphere is like nowhere to be found. It’s very organized, very well planned. Counselors have the right tools to positively interact with children, and they care to include everyone. We like the fact that we can send our kids to a camp where their neshoma and guf can be nurtured!!”
