I met Rabbi Liberman through this program and spoke to him many times. He badly wanted a traditionally styled aron kodesh for his shul and I always gave him first notice when anything came up (but, sadly, nothing yet met his tastes). He was a kind and sweet man, and knowing him was a pleasure.

He had procured what was new at the time PVC piping and made a huge Chanukah menorah for placement in Boston Common. My having a lighting factory, he asked me to wire it up for him.
He was one if the first Chabad pioneers in Boston besides Rabbi Ciment of the yeshiva
