On the way, the Frierdiker Rebbe was saying many praises about Reb Michoel der Alter, and amongst others he said that “the crown of Tomchei Tmimim was taken away”.
By the way – in the 80’s, a great-grandson of Reb Michoel, who’s name was also Michoel Bliner (named after his elter zaide) immigrated from Russia with his family (they passed by our house in Italy for a short while and we became very good friends). Then they lived in Crown Heights (in 706 E.P.) and he passed away about 20 years ago and is buried in Montefiore cemetery not far from the Ohel.
