The Vitzener Rov ztl, was a Hungarian Rov who lived in Chicago at the time. He came to New York and wanted to have a Yechidus with the Friediker Rebbe. He told the gabboim that he wanted to discuss about his attempt of moving to Chicago. The gabboim said don’t talk about it. He didn’t listen to them and spoke about it. The Friediker Rebbe said, I tried but they put stumbling blocks in my way. The Friediker Rebbe tried to buy a house for a Shul, but the misnagdim & non religious stopped it a few times.
